At the regional table convened by Valerio Fabiani, advisor for work and corporate crises of Eugenio Giani, the agreement was reached between Prosperius/Proget and the trade union organizations – Chamber of Labor of Florence, Civil Service Cgil, Filcams Cgil, Nidil-Cgil and the company RSA – which since January had reported serious deficiencies and critical issues in the organization of personnel, requesting the intervention of the Region. Fabiani recognized the company and the union “for the work carried out, which led to the agreement signed at the regional table and created the conditions for a discussion that will continue within the union regarding the internal organization of work and the related management of staff”.
Prosperius, assisted at the table by Confindustria, has undertaken to guarantee the presence of the necessary staff for the execution of the services. With regard to fixed-term workers, Prosperius expresses in the agreement its intention to proceed with the extension of existing contracts, an outcome that arose precisely from the discussion at the table. “We will see how the matter will progress, starting from the meetings already scheduled between the company and the unions on 25 March and 22 April – states Fabiani -; however, we note that the parties have restarted a discussion after months of agitation”. The regional table remains open at the request of the parties.
